Sisyphus, You Ruined It For The Rest Of Us

Sisyphus,
You ruined it.
You ruined it
for the rest of us.

Sisyphus,
rolling a boulder uphill.
Rolling a boulder uphill,
over and over again.

Sisyphus,
never allowed to quit.
Never allowed to quit,
we’re slaves to duty.

Sisyphus,
will you ever win?
“Will you ever win?”
I ask myself.

Sisyphus,
Should I imagine you happy?
Should I imagine me happy?
Imagination changes no reality.

Maybe I ought to revolt?

MythOfSisyphus
