Woo Hoo! It’s National Poetry Writing Month. Go write yourself a poem (learn about different forms here)–it will only take ten minutes, I swear! Especially if you set a timer and stop writing when ten minutes are up. Even if you have to write about cats sitting on mats looking at rats, it will be a poem, and you’ll have one more poem than the person who didn’t even bother.
I’ll be posting later tonight with directions for entering the blog’s first giveaway!
I’m now off to a poetry reading/workshop-y event.
